Wainaina is a kenyan author and award-winning journalist and is currently a Bard Fellow and Director at the Chinua Achebe Centre for African Literature and Languages in Bard College.

i have actually been reading this and it was published here as a little book by kwani. it is so hilarious!! i was reading it while stuck in traffic, laughing to myself and i noticed a whole bus full of people staring at me very strangely!!! he is quite brilliant.
